Dream Theater - Speak to Me

Always been a favorite of mine from one of my favorite bands, this shuffled on this morning and reminded me why I love it so much. The prog gods doing their best U2 imitation

Yes. :) It's a poem by Theodore Roethke....

The Waking

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I have to go.

We think by feeling. What is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.

Of those so close beside me, which are you?
God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there,
And learn by going where I have to go.

Light takes the Tree; but who can tell us how?
The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair;
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.

Great Nature has another thing to do
To you and me, so take the lively air,
And, lovely, learn by going where to go.

This shaking keeps me steady. I should know.
What falls away is always. And is near.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I learn by going where I have to go.

Underneath Your Clothes ~ Shakira

WARNING: This is not the original Shakira video. This is a video from the Emmy Award winning Showtime TV series Queer As Folk. This video contains sexual language & simulated graphic material. Watch it at your own risk. Three things to keep in mind: Number 1--You must be at least 18 years old & logged into a YouTube account to view this video. Number 2--That's ice cream on his cheek at 1:43. (Notice the carton in the background.) Number 3—The brunette actor, Gale Harold, is a STRAIGHT man in real life & so everything you think you're seeing is fake. The nudity is real but the sex is not. Okay, that should be plenty of warning for anyone squeamish out there. If you're still willing to click on the following link, don't say I didn't warn you.

Nice Av Triple S. My sis has the new album and it's pretty good. Not really my style so I won't be buying it, but, yeah, he sounds good.

Ya, it's quite catchy. LOL, he was on Ellen yesterday, she just loves him to pieces. Got quite a bit out of him about his AMA performance.
