I was going to post the exact same thought. MTV definitely enables this kind of stuff, and the VMA Awards have been more about tasteless controversy than the awards themselves for quite some time, even if it's just some rigged stunt like Bruno wrapping his butt cheeks around Eminem's face. I can't even take them seriously anymore. But the worst part is that they'd let an artist suffer in her moment like that and be humiliated on national TV by a jackass like Kanye. At the very least, they should issue a public apology and bar him from attending future shows. Like that'll happen.
Exactly. They'll want him to keep coming. Heck, next year he might kill a Jonas Brother right on live TV, or deflower Madonna's daughter during a music number. After what he did to Taylor Swift, wouldn't surprise me. MTV can't let publicity like that get away!
