A local TV station that reported on Chicagoans NOT wanting the Olympics has been told NOT to run the report again, insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT!

The Chicago Olympic Committee told FOX Chicago that its broadcast "would harm Chicago's chances" to be awarded the games.

The station's news director ordered staff to hold fire after the report aired once last Thursday morning, claims a source.

Chicago, Madrid, Tokyo and Rio are mounting strong bids for the honor to host in 2016.

The International Olympic Committee makes its decision on Friday. President Obama will lead the in-person push.

Also, an article that ran yesterday which sums up the inferiority complex Chicago has, which I brought up last week:

Very interesting article, and I believe it is very true. Most people that I know that live in the city have the inferiority complex about Chicago. I guess at 5:45am central time tomorrow we will hopefully find out that Chicago does NOT get the bid. :D

I hope Chicago gets the bid! We will find out in about 19 hours, with the starting coverage starting at 1:30am from what I understand. If they do get it, there are sooo many people that will be back to work finally, and all do construction. City workers wont be taking furlo days anymore. *I think I spelled that wrong...lol.* It will just be an all around good thing for the city of Chicago, and its not just because Im from there!

Personally, I dont think Oprah is gonna make or break thier chances though..she could have stayed home!

I did. It would have been WAY too much of a terrorist target for some Al Qaeda members with a dirty bomb. No thanks - I live within the fallout zone. Rio will be a much safer place for it.

OUTFUCKINSTANDING! I LOVE IT! I can't believe Chicago got bounced in the first round. That's more than I hoped for. I'm not going to rip Obama for this because 1. I said I wouldn't and 2. I'm so happy I don't care. However, fuck you Richie Daley, you corrupt Irish prick.

Thats what the Olympics are supposed to be ...representative of everyone and for everyone....so they should give countries that haven't had a part in participating before be considered first. Congratulations to your country! I'm sure all there will be honored to host the Games and will exhibit the pride of country as well as welcoming and sharing fellowship with the world. :)

ACORN doesn't have operations in Denmark eh?

On a somewhat related note, like my dad said, maybe Chicago was just too corrupt for the IOC (especially on the heels of Salt Lake). Not saying the other 3 cities didn't grease palms too, but maybe Chicago grease too much. That does happen.
