Just saw Foreigner on Conan and Hansen sounded more like old Foreigner than Mick Jones. Jones' fret work sucked big time. Hansen sounded pretty dang good.

When people love what they do and can make a living at it, they are certainly lucky. If performers can still go out there and put on a great show for the audience, there is no reason to retire! It's when they go on stage and the performances have become mediocre compared to their glory days that they should consider leaving before they do the rock version of 'jumping the shark'.

Or when they have to replace virtually every original member and are down to one or two and not even the most significant contributors. Can anyone imagine the firestorm if Ringo had tried to reform and tour as 'The Beatles' with new members standing in for John, Paul, and George? That idea is both funny and horrifying!

I was really poking fun at Jana's Statement about loving the Power Ballad Faithfully. When a guy says something like that, the first thing you'll here is the dude must be gay. My humor is as bad as Steveo777's.

I thought it was pretty funny, lol . Nothing like a little gutter humour, heh heh

Question, why Adam Ant? :?

I enjoy the music of Adam and The Ants, the same way 78 sports a Sammy AV because he likes Hagar.

Isn't Adam Ant a convicted pedophile?

His father was, not him. Adam was sent to the loony farm for other things like throwing a car alternator though a bar window, sleeping in the street with his pants pulled down and busting his neighbors door in with a shovel. I think with the help of medication, he's managed to stay out of trouble for the last five years or so.

Wrong
With your logic , you hang on to your plumber till he dies ;)
If my plumber kept breaking tools left and right and started importing his tools from Hong Kong instead of Home Depot , and tried to convince me that the new tools are as great as original tools , yet kept fucking up my furnace , I'd tell him to either retire or go elsewhere cause he ain't getting my business more.
