Us heat AND magic fans? Shit, not only are they the same state, they're from the same conference. Florida pro sports fans = a joke. I suppose I'll start rooting for the Reds and Bengals too... you know, just in case one of them happens to win.

Matt...FYI: I support ALL Florida teams......I have NEVER hid the fact that I am a Magic fan first but I was thrilled when the Heat won the title a few years back...
ANYTIME a Championship title comes to Florida is a GREAT thing. Unless its FSU, of course.
Florida fans a joke??? Hardly

The empty seats at the Marlins, Rays, and Heat arenas disagree with you.

Boy you aren't kidding. The attendance for ALL Florida teams is abysmal. They simply are a shitty sports state. LOL at Gator going to the two team card. How the fuck can you like the Tragic and the Heat? That's just fucking stupid.

The Heat aren't winning jack shit.

The Magic get a lot of respect and have come a long way, and they have great fans.

Jana, you are DAMN right!!!!! I love the Magic.

So, if I'm a California fan so as long as the Dodgers, Angels, Lakers, Clippers, L.A. Kings, Sacramento Kings, Cal Bears, Bruins, Trojans, Ducks Giants, 49ers, Raiders, A's, Chargers, Padres, Galaxy, Chivas, San Diego State, Sharks, Avengers, Cal State Fullerton win something, whether it be Volleyball, NBA, College World Series or Lacrosse, I'm crowing.

Well whoopdie doo. Congratulations on rolling over like dead dogs this year in the playoffs. They are so ridiculously soft it isn't funny. They're the Suns of the east, without the talent.

Why not? What's wrong with that? Where are the rules written that you have to choose only one team??

Actually, Guinness is just that, but since it costs more in the states, it is viewed as more of a upper-class beverage when it's not that at all.

Dude, I've drank Pabst and Lowenbrau in my younger days, even Lone Star but for the reason that it was cheap and I didn't have money.

I drink Guinness because it actually tastes like Beer where Miller, Bud and those types are so watered down you can actually see through them. Nothing to do with being blue Collar or not.

Go get yourself a can or four. I'm sure you'll agree that it delivers the goods. Just stay away from the bottled version, complete shit there.

Miami is no challenge to us. We beat their ass last time, just like we've done to FSU the last 6 years. Plus they dont get fan support not even a small percent of what FSU and UF get at home. And when I was in school at UF FSU was our most hated rival...I spit on those assholes. Man, me and them had some classic fights back in the day!

I lived there and that was devastating to that town but noone came with tissues for Orlando! Hell, in 3 years Dwight Howard will do the same thing.
The guy wanted to play in Miami, he wants the best chance to win a championship, thats all this is. All of you should have seen his face during the playoffs a couple months ago in the series with Boston. He was disgusted.

It was not that he left. It was the classless, cruel, heartless way he did it. He spit on this organization that gave him EVERYTHING for the last 7 yrs as well as the fans for whom he could do no wrong. He humiliated each and everyone of us on national TV. If he would have just made a simple announcement of his decision people would have been upset....but nothing like the bitter hurt they have today.

But we helped create this monster. When the rest of the country criitcized him for not being able to close out a game....we defended him. When the criticized him for not having the killer instinct....we defended him, when they criticized him for his poor foul shooting....we defended him, when they said he wasn't as good as Kobe.....we defended him. LeBron thinks he can do no wrong and has no sense of how to be a decent human being. He has lived in his own inflated bubble for so long he believes all the hype.

He wants to take all the credit for winning and none of the responsibility of losing. He is a total jack ass!

I never thought I'd say this but GO LAKERS!! GO MAGIC!! I have a whole new respect for the Bulls too. I guess they told him in their meeting with him that they would NOT hire his friends, or allow friends and family to fly on the team plane etc. They said they didn't do it for Jordan and they wouldn't do it for LeBron. Might have sealed their fate but kudos to them!!

LeBron couldn't hack it as the King so he had to become The Prince.

He is Scottie Pippen. He couldn't win it on his own so he took the easy way out.

Quote from LeBron in 2006: "I don't want to go ring-chasing. I want to staywith the Cavs and build a champion."

For years and years those of us outside of Cleveland saw his ego growing instead of his talent. We saw the annual collapses, and we also saw a guy that was becoming more and more withdrawn at the end of games. The eyes always tell it best. He would look around in the crucial waning moments of games. Win or lose, go back and watch Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Kobe Bryant and especially Michael Jordan in those same scenarios. You could see fire, desire and leadership. Win or lose, you had to take the game from them. More importantly, you saw those guys getting better every year, making those around them better every year and getting closer to that ultimate goal every year. And, as a fan, you just knew it was a matter of time. They simply couldn't be stopped in their pursuit.

This guy quit on a 61 win team and did so in a way that will forever haunt him. He had 2 choices during his exit. He could have made this about the fans, the owner and the remaining team members ... thanking them all and even throwing in a sales pitch for the team and city. But he didn't. He made it about himself. He didn't show one scintilla of class, gratitude or foresight in his decision. Then, to make matters worse, he wasn't even a good salesman about it. Again ... the eyes. During that interview he was uncomfortable and indecisive. You could see right through the bullshit. Within 30 seconds of that garbage spectacle I would bet that virtually the entire city of Cleveland knew he was leaving. It was as though he knew he was selling out, cheapening, brand and not doing the right thing and definitely not doing it the right way. And he was right. It was just like crunch-time on the court ... ask him to get it right and do it alone, and he always fails. At least he's consistent.
