NBC interviewer Jeff Rossen appeared startled when Sheen said he wanted to be paid $3 million an episode to return to the show. He's reportedly paid $1.8 million an episode now, one of the highest-paid actors on television.
"You want a raise?" Rossen asked.
Replied Sheen: "Yeah, look what they put me through."

He did it on the radio interview and on the Today interview, I bet he'll do it on 20/20 as well...

If one is a heavy user and has been over a long period, quitting cold can seriously mess you up -- physiologically, not just psychologically.
His paranoia and delusions of grandeur make great headlines, but the dude seems like he's in real trouble ... this is way more than just supreme assholiness.

There's absolutely no reason they had to suspend the show. That was their choice and it was a dumb one.

What everyone should do to save face is just say "Hey, this was a publicity stunt that CBS came up with, we all just played along". It probably is anyway.

This would be hysterical if it weren't serious ...great idea for an episode!!Fact Finder wrote:Charlie Sheen: I want a raise
NEW YORK — Charlie Sheen says he wants a raise to come back to the CBS show "Two and a Half Men."
The troubled star appeared on dueling morning show interviews Monday to continue an attack on CBS and producers of his hit sitcom for shutting down the show because of his off-set behavior. Both ABC's "Good Morning America" and NBC's "Today" show featured him in their first half hours.

I've thought about it!!StevePerryHair wrote:The thing no one thinks about is that the guy is a father. He has kids and the lifestyle he's wrapped up in right now, is not exactly tops for child rearing. People can make jokes, wish they were him, and justify his behavior. It IS his life and his business. But he's making it public, probably not even always aware of how he looks. I feel bad for his kids only.
I believe he called him "Hymie" too..considered anti-semetic maybe?brandonpfn wrote:Saint John wrote:I'm guessing his publicist, Stan Rosenfield, quit because of the Jewish wisecracks aimed at Lorre.
Was it anti-semitic for Charlie to call out Chuck's real name? I mean, Charlie's real name is Carlos Estevez - what point was he trying to make??

WHAT wise-cracks? He used the guy's real name? I guess that's anti-jew? Dang, why don't they go after Lorre for being embarrassed to use his real name?

Speaking of which...
Charlie explained that he “hopes” his 5 kids ask him about all of the drug use one day … so he can fill them in on all of the “epic” stories.
