Seriously, dude? He's a stuttering, inept hatemonger. The only guy on Fox who's truly intelligent is O'Reilly.

Personally, I think George Will s fantastic, and if I were a Republican, I would read his editorials every day, because he knows his stuff, doesn't pander to the extremes, and is extremely eloquent.

Holy crap. I agree with you! :)

On everything, but Beck being inept and a hatemonger. He may be a lot of things, but I don't think he's enept...look at his career...and I don't think he's a hatemonger.

I've hear George Will speak twice. One smart SOB and unbelievably well spoken. Olbermann and Franken may make a good debate with the Fox guys, but Will would make them all look like bafoons.

Maybe not so fast. I agree Will is a very astute man, and in fact, he was rumored to become the Commissioner of Major League Baseball..I wish he took the job a few years back...anyway, as for debating, either you know your stuff or you don't. Hannity and Beck are so programmed, with feeds in their ears and an agenda to drive, that if it was a free wheeling debate, with unrehearsed questions, I think both would struggle mightily. ..same with Olberman, in that he has an agenda to drive as well...but between those three Olberman is by far the sharpest guy...Now, what I would love to see is Rachel Maddow square off with any of the Fox guys...she definitely is well rehearsed, and is a smart dyke, err, woman.

That's because Dick Cheney kicks a$$ Old Testament style - that's how he rolls! He'll wipe out your seed and the seed of your seed, too! (There's no "u" in Iraqi, btw.)

No he doesn't. He's a chicken-hawk. He'd rather send your son/daughter to do it for him.

Oh. What's it called when Obama sends people's sons and daughters to the Middle East?

What does that have to do with Cheney talking all hawkish about war but when he had the opportunity in Vietnam, he refused to serve? He's a chicken-hawk....just a fact. So is W, just another fact.

I guess that goes double for Bill Clinton, the dude who wrote how he "loathed the military", and protested U.S. policy on foreign soil? How about John Kerry, who made sure he got a Purple Hearts for things like taking shrapnel in the arse from his own rocket he fired at a helpless pile of rice?

So, now you are saying that Clinton and Kerry are not only military "hawks" but twice that of Cheney?

Sorry, don't buy it. Bush and Cheney started the two current wars we are now in. Not only that, but they propagandized the entire debate surrounding them to the point to where if you were against those wars you were unpatriotic and being unAmerican. They are the very definition of chicken-hawks. Get over it.

I didn't say that at all -- just saying that the grass isn't greener on the left side of the fence. Clinton had tried very hard to sound hawkish after leaving office, to rewrite his legacy I guess. To hear him tell it, he was all over Bin Laden.

IMO, the rest are in the chatter for their own personal gain...to popularize their personna and get more $'s for radio shows, books, etc. FOX is mostly infotainment. They pretend to be a news channel but they are not there for the news. They sensationalize the 'news' they choose to cover. They attempt to prick at your emotions and get you to watch more. They take a 'story' and twist it to fit in their agenda. it's not 'reporting' news. It's us vs. them. FOX is not a conservative alternative to network news. They are a conservative alternative to John Stewart. The only difference is, the people on FOX would never admit to being on a 24hr comedy channel.

I agree...that is absolutely laughable. Out of the tens of millions of people who watch TV every hour, cable 'news' shows can barely even attract 1million viewers COMBINED during some of those hours. It is absolutely hilarious that some people may actually believe that that piddly number amounts to much of anything.

During the most watched program below, O'Reilly, it is even beat by iCarly and Hannah Montana! How pathetic and embarrassing for ALL of cable news! Hell, iCarly should make fun of that, if they haven't already! LOL.

Shouldn't that be embarrassing to AMERICANS rather than cable news outlets? I think it's pretty telling and sad, in fact, that people would rather watch a reality show, for instance, than a news program.

I don't like Hannity. He's too scripted and doesn't move much past his own talking points.

Limbaugh is a feeble-brained master manipulator / disinfotainer

Can't stand Limbaugh, either, but feeble-brained? Come on. The guy is unquestionably intelligent, however he's too tied to the political ideology of the Republican party. Big mistake.

and Beck...well, he's incredibly stupid, and very scary to boot.

He's one of the most well read people in the business and certainly not incredibly stupid. The guy is a voracious reader and has probably read more books in the past month than you or I have in the last two years. If his beliefs are scary to you, fine, that's understandable if you're coming at these things from a completely different viewpoint.

I would challenge any of the dittoheads on Fox to an intellectual ho-down against Olbermann or Franken - the latter two would bury them where they stood,

Franken is a smart guy. No question. He's just wrong. However, Olbermann doesn't strike me as one of the most intelligent people in the business. I think he's dumber than box of rocks.

I don't think it's "news" to sit on your butt and whine about why things aren't your way in politics, how America is changing for the worse, and why everybody should agree with you.

That's what internet forums are for...and I doubt ANY of these fake news guys would last five posts in one of these forums. Unless they copy/paste all of their arguments, then their arguments are a bit irrelevant anyway.

LOL..Olberman is only a graduate of Cornell University. You just hate his ideology. He would smoke any and all of those tape machines at FOX. Dude, at least be honest with yourself. Hannity is horseshit. O Reilly is clever, but that's about it. Beck? You have got to be kidding me? That guy is an emotional moron who cries at the drop of a hat. He can go to Hell and suck off Satan.

Maybe because it's Friday, but for some reason I was actually trying to defend the American people. :D You have to admit, a person should only watch so much news. We get too much of it in my opinion. Ted Turner created a monster that is ruining us all.

Now...I admit there is no defense for those watching reality shows. Does the Amazing Race count? I like that one.

Oh is that what that was when Limbaugh raked the Bush administration over the coals for signing Campaign Finance, Ted Kennedy's education bill, and the UAE ports deal?
If being "too tied to the political ideology of the Republican party" means democrats losing control of the house and/or senate, and Obama not getting a second term, then God bless him. At least he has the balls to claim that he is a conservative that wants conservatism to retake the Republican party. Unlike Beck who's too much of an emotional wackjob and too worried about getting pinned as a conservative.

You can always find a few issues where he doesn't tow the party line. However, as for the three you mentioned, were those really even Republican positions he disagreed with anyway or just positions the Bush Administration itself held?

Except Keith didn't go to the Ivy League Cornell; he went to the Old MacDonald Cornell.

The real Cornell, the School of Arts and Sciences (average SAT: 1,325; acceptance rate: 1 in 6 applicants), is the only Ivy League school at Cornell and the only one that grants a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Coulter is a hatemonger and an idiot. Given equal footing Olbermann would destroy her - and he also doesn't fucking LIE all the time like she does.

I agree about Coulter. She is a twit. However, the last time I watched Olbermann when someone wasn't guest-hosting, I caught him in an outright lie, pulling quotes completely and purposely out of context.

Um, Dave...while that was obviously in poor judgement, it pales in comparison with anything that bitch Coulter has ever done. She had 216 ouright lies and untruths in her last book. She is a peddler of lies to the lowest common denominator.

Like I said...George Will is the standard bearer.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

So you're saying Olbermann did go to the Ivy League Cornell? I'm sure she stated that global warming is a complete and utter hoax....which you would call an outright lie or untruth...right?

Dude, the theory of relativity JUST GOT OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED as scientifically truthful 70 years after Einstein first proposed it, and well after it had been accepted as common knowledge among 99.9% of the world's physicists.

The fact that some data does not UNEQUIVOCALLY support climate change DOES NOT MEAN IT ISN'T HAPPENING, and certainly does NOT lend your theory of it being a "hoax" any veracity or credibility. The fact remains that ALL THE WORLD'S MAJOR GOVERNING SCIENTIFIC BODIES as well as a mega-majority of scientists and climatologists STILL FULLY SUPPORT ITS SCIENTIFIC VERACITY. YOU, sir, are in the vast minority, and what you say flies in the face of almost all the research that's been done.

Limbaugh was in favor of the UAE ports deal, not against.
Shortly thereafter, he would admit on-air that he had been carrying water for the Republican Party.
Not sure why anyone takes this dude seriously...just another shock jock.

Why, RWF's assertion that climate change is a "hoax," of course.

I have always said that climate change is constant. From day to day, year to year the earth is always either warming or cooling. What I called a hoax, is global warming. Don't try swapping terms on me. You sound as Much of a fraud as Al Gore.
