I didn't go too mad this time actually - I only bought 4, which were Soul Sirkus, 'Octane' by Spock's Beard, the remastered copy of Yes '90125', cos my copy is one of the quietest cd's in my collection, and (gulp) Foo Fighters 'One by One'!!Serendipity wrote:Glad to see you've had a good time, Kenny! What CDs did you buy?
Yes the Saints were very good over in Adelaide......and Port Adelaide were awesome!!doggy wrote:Good win by your Weagles,Kenny. I hope you, Kenny, kept your eyes on my Saints we now the new flag favourites.
No they're not....but I really don't think it would be good for football if a team using a 'super flood' won the flag? At one stage in that game not one Swans player was forward of the centre, even Barry Hall was around centre half back!! Not good.Taliwakker wrote:The Swans aren't done yet

No.....it plays, but it is really quiet. When you have three discs in on shuffle, invariably the others blow your head off and you can barely hear '90125'.......I know what you're thinking, but it was only 10 bucks!!!!Serendipity wrote:Kenny wrote: the remastered copy of Yes '90125', cos my copy is one of the quietest cd's in my collectionLike it won't play?

There are only a few that are what I would call intolerably quiet.....'Powerslave' would be another.....but there would be maybe 10-12 more I would like to replace, and I will do it in no rush and when I can get a good price.Serendipity wrote:I must admit that 10 bucks isn't a bad deal at all. You're not afraid though you're going to end up with your entire collection in duplicate? That Maiden remaster is likely to make other CDs sound pale in its turn...
Kenny wrote:It just shits me when some Cd's are so much louder than others!
I plan on replacing my older copy of 'Seventh Son' soon too.....
'Powerslave' would be another

Most real aussies drink VB.

Being relatively new here and all, what kind of ale might be on tap? Is it virtually everything or just Aussie fare? And, what do Aussies think of Foster's? Is it really "Australian for 'beer'" as is proclaimed in the U.S. TV commercials?
I could just make it easy and say, "Gimme a bottle of anything, and a glazed donut - to go!"
