I already did this. I said that the electoral college was created because the founders did not trust that people could be informed enough to be able to vote for a President. They wanted to avoid an unqualified candidate from becoming President. I then provided the writings of founding father Alexander Hamilton to back up what I was saying. And, IMO, the electoral college failed to do as it was designed to do and allowed Trump to be elected. It is an antiquated idea that no longer serves the purpose that it was designed for, and attempts to avoid issues that no longer exist. The electoral college no longer serves a representative republic and should be ended.

I have already posted Alexander Hamilton explaining impeachment. It exists to remove a President who is abusing the power of his office. Period. What you quoted above is obviously reaffirming that impeachment is a process for congress...and not a trial by jury. It is pretty desperate of you to use that sentence as evidence of something else.
