What is dumb about my post.

You need message boards for companionship that is why you have over 1,000 posts here. You went to see Journey alone too.

I can't state it any clearer that Van Halen with David Lee Roth is easily a top 14 band of all time. However, many would say that Van Halen is a top 8 band.

The POINT is that most people deal in round numbers. So VH could have been a Top 15 band or a Top 10 band, but to nitpick it down to Top 14 is ridiculous. Who is "your" 15th band?

In my opinion Eddie wanted to get something out quickly because Sammy had just released Marching To Mars.

I agree that if Van Halen would of taken their time in recording Van Halen III it would of turned out much better than it did.

Gary

Did anyone see the MTV airing of the Sydney show at the beginning of the III tour? Or, since there are obviously many Aussies here, did anyone go to that show? Gary did Dave-style high kicks, jumped up into the seats, tumbled down about 20 of the stadium's not-so-soft stairs... I thought that deserved high marks for effort.

My best friend and partner in crime when it comes to all things Van Halen has it on tape... mostly. I believe there was a problem with setting the timer to record it (he works nights and wasn't home to catch it live). So, it ends prematurely. How apropos! Regardless, I personally thought it was a good show.

I think it's safe to say that the rock gods frowned on Cherone's presence in VH... :P

Yeah, I know. It took 25 times. The requisite number for attaining "Groupie" status.

I'd rip the Cherone tours cuz I'm one of the ones only that liked it, plain and simple. Whadya think Wazzu will do this week?
