Drove past the bank the other day and Pittsburgh hit 8 degrees. I'm out in it every morning for AT LEAST 3 hours and it's not fun. Love the snow and everything but HATE driving in it, esp in the morning. Terrible. :x :x

If I would really freeze my fandango OFF, I would go out running in a heartbeat....but since it's not that easy....I'll hit the treadmill today-outside running only if it's zero or above.

We're in the middle of receiving a foot of snow.
They knew about this yesterday morning, way before it started - and was IDOT ready with the plows and whatnot?

NO! There's no reason in the world why the highways should not have been plowed this morning.
20 mile drive and I did not see one single plow on a main street or on any of the 3 highways I drive. :evil:

If it's like here, they don't plow while it's still snowing-if they plow while it's snowing, they know they'll have to do it again so in order to save money they only plow after it stops.

as for house hunting- that's down the road a few years, but relocating should happen come summer if i find a teaching position up north. where i'm headed has a high of 51 today if that helps :lol:
