I'm definitely no football expert, but honestly it looked that way to me, too.
He was pretty much playing pitch and catch against a sub-par bench defense who was running around there not knowing what their doing like chicken with their heads cut off while defending a lead in the 4th qrt which allowed Daniels to use Tebow within his comfort level of putting him in the shotgun and using short yardage plays/screens to get him comfortable.
He made a couple nice improvision plays that looked pretty good and pushed the ball downfield to open receivers and looked accurate on those few throws so that's a plus, but when Cincy actually brought something for him to read, like bringing an overload blitz to his blindside, he completley brushed it off and didn't even bother to read it. That'll come with time & experience but the defense that was being run at that point let him play pitch and catch. One read offense but he looked good in his debut which lead to him snapping a couple ribs.
