Incorrect, and some of your fanbase has said it.

The Ravens are myopic and are so focused on beating the Steelers they can't beat anyone else.

Obviously it's not "correct" or "incorrect" but I'd still take Roethlisberger over Flacco in big games. Nothing will convince me otherwise. The Ravens need to cut that shit out with only focusing on Pittsburgh. Dumping Gatorade on their coach last week like they actually won something and then coming out and laying an egg to a 2 win team won't accomplish much of anything. I don't care if they sweep the Steelers for the next 10 years, they simply need to beat the teams they should beat or they'll constantly play second fiddle.

I'd take Ben over Flacco too, but get over the Gatorade thing. Silly shit and we don't play for either team.

Regular season meaning winning the division or clinching the playoffs. Dumping Gatorade in week 9 when nothing is won just shows how important the Steelers mean to them. I think it's cheap. But anyway, New England went from exciting to watch to a complete snooze-fest of a team.

Bro, it was VERY important to them, but look at NFL films. Certainly not the first or last time that has happened in the regular season. Steelers should take it as a compliment. Yeah, what is up with New England?

BULLSHIT call taking away that TD from Gronkowski. CLEARLY a touchdown. FOUR bullshit calls against the Pats so far (although they did get away with a hold earlier in the game), but ROBBING them of a touchdown...WTF. This is HORSESHIT.

Some of you so-called football fans are complete fucking morons. You do know that the rule in the NFL is that if a receiver steps out of bounds (which Gronkowski CLEARLY did), he can't be the first person to touch the ball when he comes back in bounds, right? Seriously, stop with the fucking whining. It's completely fucking embarrassing. Especially, when you clearly don't understand basic NFL rules!

Whatever. I saw him catch the TD and went to the john. Next thing I know, I come back and the score is 16-9. So I never saw the replay. Color me misinformed. But I do "clearly understand basic NFL rules," jackass.

You're the jackass. If you didn't see the play, you shouldn't be commenting about how much "the fix" is in against the Patriots! Don't talk about how much a guy got screwed out of a TD when it very clearly wasn't a TD!

Good win for New England. That all but clears up the crowded AFC EAST if they take care of their own business (doesn't look like Sanchez will ever be a bigtime quaterback and the Bills are showing why their Buffalo lately) since the Pats have toe to toe, the easiest schedule in the NFL from here on out. The Jets really were off tonight and that turnover on the punt return and that deflected interception really changed the entire game upside down. Good for New England to pounce at the Meadowlands.

If I'm the Jets, I'm analyzing post-Sanchez QB options right now. The guy has not been worthy of the 5th pick and he's held this team back. Their window is open for a year or two after this at most.

God it's fun seeing Rex Ryan get shut the hell up. Even if it is a Boston team doing it

The only problem with that is you make the same prediction every week. You sound like Fred Smerlas with his dopey predictions every week. Eventually, you will be right, if your prediction never changes.

Brady is just too cool. Always waiting for him to break out the thermos and lunchbox on the sidelines. The guy just does his job. Kudos to that N.E. receiver filling in on the defensive side who blew up LT. That was epic.

Wrong. The difference between you and I is...I EXPECT the team to win every week, which is different from realizing that they could lose. You have to have confidence....no room for the Romney flip-flop....

No team with this Patriots defense should be expected to win every week. It's simply not remotely realistic.

The easiest schedule remaining, notwithstanding, doesn't mean much for this defense. Although, they did play very well tonight, this Patriots defense could lose to some really bad teams down the stretch. This simply isn't a good defense, and I have no idea how they survived this game tonight. They're already playing with a whole lot of guys that nobody has ever heard of, so I'm not optimistic, come playoff time.

Brady started off very ugly. Rushing throws, skipping balls on the turf, throwing into coverage (Jets dropped 3 picks.) But as bad as Sanchez and the Jets offense is (I heard 'ground and pound' 9 times tonight and then the next play is '..now the Jets need to unleash Sanchez' so they have no identity) they simply kept shooting themselves in the foot and Brady warmed up while they did it. Not good, especially against Brady.

My point is that anyone who has seen more than three NFL football games knows that it isn't realistic to expect ANY team to win every single game that they play. I'm a fan of the team. That doesn't change the fact that this is a really, really bad defense, in spite of the fact that they played very well tonight.

Not to mention THREE HORRIFIC calls......

Eli bailed out by TWO lame PI calls....must be same officials that worked 42.

that first PI call on Arrington was bull....NY player initiated contact...plain and simple. Second one was UNCATCHABLE.

And that NY defender had his head turned around when defending that Gronk drop? Selective officiating.....

I don't think I even referenced on how injuries were the part of how N.E was playing on defense, you did. NE's defense sucked for years so I was mainly talking about their offense looking very out of sync early. They have just been a very snooze of a team (especially on offense) lately. But they returned in the second half and scored a couple touchdown's again, so that means you can go back to predicting 17+ margins and with that, comes less-posting about the refs since the post-count about the ref's ironically go down in percentages when N.E wins big or pulls away. Go figure.

Where exactly do you come up with this stuff? You do know that prior to last season, the Patriots D finished 11th or higher in team defense (and were top ten most years) every season back to 2005, right? Now, I agree with you on this team's defense, but to all of sudden turn that it into the Patriots being a team who has never known how to play any defense is just plain stupid...not to mention, completely untrue!

I'm certainly not going back as far as 2005. In fact, I always thought New England's defense was VERY tough in their Super Bowl runs, something I think gets lost in how tough they actually were and VASTLY underrated. I always said that. I should have worded my statement differently. I should have said "NE's defense sucked the last couple years." When I said that, that New Orleans game some years ago crept in my mind. IMHO, that year was the year New England started showing major problems, especially in the secondary. What year was that? 2009? So yeah, a couple years.

Looks like Matt Shaub is out for the season (Adam Shefter reports) with a foot injury. Matt Leinart to start in his place. Shaub is a big part in the Texans balanced attack, especially through the air. With Leinart in there, teams will stack up against Foster and I don't think Leinart can push the ball to Johnson like Shaub can when talking being dangerous. Looks like another threat of a team could be removed from the AFC in the long run. I think the AFC's is either New England's, Baltimore's or Pittsburgh's. Any other team between the lines isn't really that big of a threat.

Wow. Huge disappointment. Houston was looking great and I was excited to watch them make a playoff run. I'd much rather watch a balanced team like Pittsburgh or Texas that can run, pass, and play some D than watch the one-dimensional teams like the Packers and the Patriots. Kinda sad to see the league trending in that direction.
