Who Will See Warrant

I found out two days after the show that Warrant was in town. So I guess they are doing some touring. But last I had heard, the original line-up minus Jani Lane was recording a CD.

I love Jani, but I agree that it was time to move on. And I am excited about the revamped lineup. But that brings me to the question:

Who will go see Warrant w/o Jani Lane on vocals?

The only hit I remember was Miss Mystery.
"Hello, Miss Mystery. .......what you done to me. Someday Miss Mystery........you set me free"

Or something like that. The .......mean I don't know the words there. I have it on VINYL, I look it up tonite.

Wasn't Jani the writer of all the songs too. The new material might be a bit of a struggle without him.

I think Black N Blue's big hit was "Hold On To 18."

I agree though that Warrant had to move on without Jani Lane. My bro saw them several years ago. Jani was pretty much finished. Couldn't hold a tune worth a damn, and he looked in very poor health.

If Warrant were to gig around here with Jamie St. James on vox, I would check it out.

Jani was the primary or sole writer of Warrant material. But there must have been an agreement met that allows Warrant to perform "Warrant" music. Of course it is now 4 out of 5 original members, which is better than it has been since 1994.

Warrant IS gigging, and if they come around again, I WILL see them.

Speaking of....
From the front page:

"A question often asked is "when will the new Black N Blue CD finally be released?" The answer to that question - not until next year I expect! Here's the latest news from Jaime St. James - who recently sent Hardrock Haven the scoop on a couple things all the Warrant and Black N Blue fans have been waiting for.
1. When is the new Black N Blue going to be released? It seems like it's been moved back a few too many times.
JSJ: "The new Black'N Blue recording Hell Yeah is about 60% finished, but currently on hold. Jef "Woop" Warner is engineering the record and he is building a new studio; unfortunately, he lost the first one we started with. Also working with Z-Records is a bitch (as far as getting paid). My joining Warrant has little to do with the delays. I have been available for two years off and on. The best way to find out when this thing will finally be released is to visit www.stjamesofficial.com."
2. Any updates on the new Warrant?
JSJ: "We have four more songs to mix next week (7/25/05) and then we master. The artwork is finished and everything sounds and looks great. Check out the new www.warrantweb.net coming soon that will be devoted to the new record, including song samples."
WebLink: www.hardrockhaven.net."

The issue regarding that particular record label and their practices have been long debated on the noticeboard.

I have developed a motto for rock bands regarding the issue: "If you're on Z, you're already a casualty." That said, I'm not holding my breath for the release of the new Black N Blue. I have since passed out waiting for the releases of Prophet "Recycled" and Femme Fatale "Lady In Waiting."

Since Andrew doesn't want the Z topic to arise ever again, I won't go further.

Supposed to...being the major key word. It's actually an unreleased second album that should've been released after the first. Z bought the rights to the album, and the original release date was April of last year. The date then was pushed three times. Now there's no release date.
