That the Sam & Dave Tour was like an audition for the VH Reunion?

Do you think it was possible that Eddie and Alex were paying attention to see who would do better on tour?

I don't remember the timing very well so it is possible that there is no way this is possible..

I don't think there is a coincidence there. If Eddie had been (at the time of the Sam/Dave tour) in the mental state that Sammy described toward the end of last year's tour, Dave would have been the obvious choice for the reunion, since Sammy said that Ed paid little or no attention or respect for the audience.

I saw Sammy and Dave here in Dallas. Great show! Sam showed his love of the audience and for partying. Dave showed that he still has the moves of a much younger man with the self-assuredness of a seasoned pro. They both performed superbly in their own ways!

Oranges and apples... they're both good for ya, but they're climate requirements are completely different.
