rockeratheart wrote:Angie Kay, I do not think that Eddie Van Halen is a regimented, structured person at all based on the hundred or so of interviews I have read with him. But, I do think that he wanted to make MORE albums during the time Sammy was in the band and Sammy was not up for that.
Angiekay wrote:That could be, but I think the experiences and trials in his life the past few years have changed him...I think it would change anyone. It's the vibe I get from him NOW. He was probably(like the rest of us) a completely different person ten, fifteen years ago. I think where he is NOW compared to the rest of the band is not a 'moving foward musically focused' place. He never re-joined it officially, either.
NealIsGod wrote:I am under that impression, too. There is just nothing going on with the band right now for them to need a singer!
NealIsGod wrote:Great interview, Fernando. Thanks for posting it. I wonder if Ed will ever give his side of the story with Sammy and Dave. He should write a book.

I think I heard Tommy Shaw and Neal Schon utter those words once...

Neal had no trouble at all, Angie.

You heard her Andrew. get off your lazy ass and make it happen.![]()
It is a good idea though. prolly cut the fighting down in the Jrny board substantially.
Then we will be requesting "murdering" icons, and "OJ" icons.

I don't think so - this paragraph in Andrew's latest update leads me to believe it's a guitarist or keyboardist:
The format was set to feature an all-star line-up searching for a 'rock star' lead singer, but I have confirmation that last minute negotiations are in place for the show to feature a well known and prominent rock star musician. The show will set about looking for a lead singer for this musician's new 2006 album.
