I'm wondering why Van Halen has not released a DVD from their Best Of Both Worlds tour?? Any thoughts on this.

I don't think any of the shows were recorded for a DVD.

(a live CD perhaps... not sure)

Probably because of the bad vibes between Eddie & Sammy near the end even though there should be a VH reunion tour DVD anyway.

I rember they said they were going to and maybe an accomanying live cd ala the Stones' 4 Flicks DVD and Live Licks double album....
Alas, I think the moment has passed, though I'd still jump all over it if they put it out. We need an upgrade over L:RH,RN. I dislike that they show different nights from shot shot to shot during the same song. Give us real live performances.

I know they are not. Seen Sammy live before. Awesome shows . But the way that vid is set out, one miunte one shirt on, the very next word, something different, standing on the other side of the stage. I listen to the show alot, have it on dvd, but have not wayched the show in over 3 years.-ERIC

Yep, that's the worst. the shirt changes, you're like WTF? It's obviously the live audio track set to montages of performances....

I wonder what they were thinking when they came up for the song list on this tour. Am I alone in this thought? I really questioned using "Jump" as an opener, but "When It's Love" as a closer. I could just imagine the discussion. "Should we close with AFU? No. Light Up The Sky? No. How 'bout something that really kicks ass and will send the fans home happy. Uh.......When It's Love?....GENIUS !!" I don't think so.
