New Sammy album

SWEET!!!

Sammy Hagar is almost done with a new studio album, and he's already thinking about a very special tour for next year. Hagar told WCKG-FM in Chicago that he and his band the WaboRitas have already finished nine songs for an album with the working title Livin' It Up, and that they'll reconvene after Thanksgiving to lay down three more tracks.

Once the record comes out, Sammy will hit the road, and he's promising a huge surprise. He'll do one set of his own music with the Wabos, the come back for an all-Van Halen performance as the Other Half, with Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and Wabos drummer David Lauser and guitarist Vic Johnson. Once that's over, it will be "all hands on deck" for an end-of-night jam.

That's why Sammy gets along so well with Neal Schon - they are both workaholics. I wish he and Neal would collaborate again. Do you have HSAS, Angie?

As a matter of fact, I do! I just haven't listened to it in YEARS! I may have to go dig it out again.

Sammy HAgar is awesome, on just about everything he has done, except for the HSAS cd. I can not bring myself to listen to the whole thing at one single sitting. But can't wait for the new cd-ERIC
