I picked up this DVD last night, watched it once, then watched it again. I ripped the audio today while at work, and I am listening to it at this moment, "Black Rose" with Scott Gorham actually.
I see there are not many Lizzy posts, but has anyone else seen this? For those that do not know what I am talking about, here is the setl ist:
Walking By Myself
Jailbreak
Don’t Believe A Word
Emerald (feat. Brian Robertson)
Still In Love With You (feat. Brian Robertson)
Black Rose (feat. Scott Gorham)
Cowboy Song (feat. Scott Gorham)
The Boys Are Back In Town (feat. Scott Gorham)
Whiskey In The Jar (feat. Eric Bell)
Parisienne Walkways (feat. Eric Bell)

Sounds like a great CD. As I Love Gary Moore. And Scott Gorhams not bad either.

I think he played the Detroit area last year or a couple years ago

I just watched this again last night. Damn is it good. I let a friend borrow it, he never realized that all these (WBM the exception) were Lizzy songs.
I just wish it was longer, and had John Sykes.

My friend Tim just copied it to a video for me. This is a Great F**kin show. Great performances and a wonderful tribute for Phil. YOu have to listen to this loud and you will get chills , I did. Any Thin Lizzy fan should get this DVD. Plus VH1 Classic has been playing a Thin Lizzy Concert from 1983 with Phil ,plus John Skyes on lead guitar and you should tape this one as well. They were really really great Live.

Gary on all songs. Brain, Scott and Eric on backing vocals. And Eric on a little lead vocals on "Whiskey In The Jar" - more likeduel lead vocals.
If you can find it buy it. I played it in my friends stereo (which is far better then most) and it sounds awesome.

I've looked at this DVD twice and not bought it (yet). It'll all boil down the version of "Emerald" and its scorching twin lead guitars finale. Is it over the top?

Yep...sounds great. Nice to see Brian back on the skins... and Gary and Robbo sound great.
(even if Robbo has lost a bit over the years...)
