INXS Internal Troubles?:

Andrew hasn't officially reported on it yet, but he's made cryptic mentions of possible strife (already) at a few different times.
Does anyone know anything about this? I'd be damned dissapointed if this momentum of the Switch gets short circuited. :? :?

This would be a shame as I think Switch was a pretty good CD. JD definately can conjur up Michael but he also brings something young and cocky to the band. But that may be the problem. JD is a new rock star. He is young. I am sure he is living this up to the fullest. But the other guys have all "been there, done that" and some may still have struggles from it (alcoholism or drug addiction never goes away). Put the two together and it could be difficult. Hopefully JD will learn from the other guys!

Can the "cocky" thing be playing into it?

Well if they didn't see that coming during the TV show then ....don't know what to say.
It is a super album and the tour seems to be doing good biz....gotta get over it.

Are they doing that number on the Switched On tour? I hate ballads, but Afterglow is pretty frigging cool. Up there w/ Disappear and Not Enough Time.

I would bet Afterglow is a part of the set since it is a single...

I saw INXS headline at the Day in the Zone concert last Sunday. They played 4 songs off of Switch including Afterglow and Pretty Vegas.

As far as JD goes, he is definately living it up and acting like a "new" rock star. At one poing on stage he stated how the sheriffs department had told the band no swearing, alcohol drinking, or drug use on stage. So after he tells the crowd this, he proceeds to say something to the effect of " So let me put out this Joint, and finish off this bottle of JD. What do you all think about that. FUCK YA!!!." I thought it was great, this is a Rock and Roll concert, not choir practice.

As far as how the rest of the band felt about it, the did not show any disgruntlement while on stage. Good show.
