I've got a friend that has sold 22 million records. I've got a friend in my favorite rock band of all time. I've written for one of my favorite guitar players' of all times website
www.stevelukather.net for three years but this may top it all. A friend of mine at work is in a VH tribute band called Eruption. This past weekend he was asked to join Sammy Hagar & Michael Anthony on stage in front of 15,000 click on the video section @

VERY cool for him. Has he come down from Cloud 9 yet?
Michael Anthony must have thought he was in the Twilight Zone!
This clip just shows how Sammy has no ego. He is all about making the fans happy and having fun.

Very cool!
Did you see Sammy's face when he first started to sing? Priceless!

Yeah, the dude took over the stage! And the crowd loved it.

Sammy just lets this guy go doesn't he? The guy points for Sam to continue with the song but is obviously waved back to the mic.
I dig Dave but have always been a VHagar fan more. I'm not totally sold on Sammy's solo stuff, a bit too pop and roll for me at times, but boy does he put on a show. And this just proves that he's a fans man, letting this guy take over is purely unselfish and totally cool. Well done!

Which of Sam's solo albums have you heard? Musical Chairs, Red, Three Lock Box, Marching To Mars and Ten 13 come highly recommended. Check out the '70s stuff except for 9 On A 10 Scale (save that for later). Musical Chairs is my fave pre-3LB Sammy disc. The guy really was all over the map before he joined VH.
