Eddie needs to get some help, seriously. He looks like shit...and the last few radio interviews he did he sounded like a friggin' idiot who had a hard time completing a thought...let alone put a complete sentence together. I have a bad feeling that if he doesn't change his ways soon, he'll be another musician who died before his time.

The reason Eddie and Sammy were at each other's throat on the last tour was because Eddie was too drunk to play most of the time. Sammy, whether you like him or not, is a pro. He felt like they were cheating the fans. And he was right.

As for the '04 tour, he played great when Wolfie was with him. Probably curtailed his drinking then. And, like my friend has mentioned, an "off" night for EVH is still more than adequate!

Good, God! Just because it's recent doesn't make him look any better. In all 100% seriousness, my grandpa just died at 88 years old in May and he looked better then this picture. He looks 20 years older then he is!!

Eddie looks inebbriated in all of his recent photos. He looks closer to 60 than 50, and looks like he has jaundice.

Look at this recent pic of Sammy Hagar in comparison. Sammy is eight years older than Eddie, but he looks younger.

You're right - what were we thinking? I have no idea who PhotoChopped that picture above to make Eddie look like an old drunken geezer by replacing his face with the face of an old witch. You're right... who cares what any celebrity looks like? Why does anyone care about what Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Prince, Madonna, Steven Tyler, Jon Bon Jovi, Pamela Anderson, or Jessica Alba look like? I don't think this is a "he's not hot anymore" type of thing. He's getting older, you just expect it. I think people are flipping over HOW bad (unhealthy) he looks. Nobody wants to see EVH essentially slowly kill himself. He takes crap care of himself, he destroyed Van Halen, he can't seem to put together a string of ideas, his marriage is over, he acts like a recluse and when he does make public appearances he plays with his back to the public and is usually a couple of HOURS late. So it's more than just not being Brad Pitt.

It was just Vic playing with The Other Half that made me cringe. It wasn't the case on all the songs, but most of them.

As for the other guitarists mentioned, I've only experienced Bart Walsh playing live with DLR. He performed quite adequately.

after reading andrews interview i got out some old sammy!!! "i dont need love" from 3 lock box is a riffing mother!! how did this go wrong?? eddie and sammy at farmaid!! i guess eddie just cant dry out long enough..........
