When I read that Eddies band at "The Gathering" was John Corabi and Eric Dover, it made me think. Could this band work as a recording act, Could they go on tour. I know it was just a party thing but no one knows what goes on in Eddies head.
Ofcourse Sam and Mike were invited, Alex wouldve said "no" cause've the nudity and partying (Remember hes family orientated). I've just got a funny feeling in the air that this could be baby steps into something new.
I remember in '98 when Eddie said if Gary Cherone dont work out in the long run and if all blows up, he'll go into movie scores etc.
Well, hes done that with "Sacred Sin", He may do another one, but what next. A Solo album?
A Corabi album? I tell you, it could work. But I doubt that VH will be resurected with him as singer. Its unlikely Mike will return again either, and we all know how bitter things are right now with Him and Sam.
Hes also hinting at doing something with Dave again. I wonder what Alex thinks of all this. We never thought a day would come where Eddie or Alex would work seperately. You just never know.
I got a feeling inside Eds got something planned. It maybe early, but I can smell a John Corabi collabaration comin' up. Hes got a hard as anything voice and can rock with ease. We might not get a VH reunion anytime soon, but I got an idea Eds not gonna sit round doing nothing.

What makes you think that? That's pretty much all he's been doing for the last 7 or 8 years. That is...outside of recording a few new songs for the Greatest Hits (which sucked) and the "reunion" tour which he couldn't stay sober for.

I still don't quite get all the resentment Eddie has for Sammy. Is Eddie just jealous because Sammy is a pro, and can keep his shit together? That's my theory.

As bad as I hate to say it, I don't think we'll ever hear any kick ass music from Eddie again.

Ya never know....from what I've seen and heard from Ed lately, he could do an album with Michael fucking Jackson and it wouldn't suprise me.

Hey Confesser, I agree totally with you mate. Hes done nothing for 8 years, and the 3 new songs of "BOBW" were crap too. I agree that hes jealous of Sammy too. It just sucks, the whole situation stinks. I put the post up for a reason. I have faith but I say it with a lump in my throat. Its just sad that he has to do porn music, but I think if he did something with Corabi it would be good. We'll wait and see.....
I went to see VH in 2004 at St. Louis and Chicago. Both shows rocked, but I knew Eddie was struggling onstage, he was a mess, making errors and all that.
Heres me wishing and hoping that a reunion comes along again. I dont like saying "Doubt it".
Sammys still got it at 59, hes just incredible. They could still do something cool again.

Umm, yeah nah not a good fit for VH unless he was providing rhythm/backup vox. But Crabs, EVH and co as a new entity, yeah that'd work for sure! Mind you Crabs can (and does) work with anyone, probably the most flexible rocker out there today, and one of the nicest blokes you could meet. He'd make Ed look good no matter what I'd say.

His jealousy is simple. Smmy is a happy sob to be alive every day and Ed is a controlling miserable sob anymore. What a shame how egos and bad drugs ruin great bands!
