They should be promoting something. I really dont care that Tommys in or Erics in anymore. The subject is "old" to me. I just want new stuff, not the same show over n over.

That's what Kiss is! I have seen them countless times and you can always predict what the show will be like. They are awesome anyway! It is always as exciting as the first time.
I do see your point about new material...which is why I was glad to catch the Live to Win tour Paul did to promote his new material. At least!!!

There is no 2007 tour... just 2-3 US festival dates.
(Simmons had big business projects and Paul wanted to tour
overseas for his solo record, so the full '07 band tour was nixed.)

They are supposed to tour in '08.

At this point, without new music, a KISS tour is irrelevant. How many times can I see them do essentially the same show? Shit, I almost wish they'd take the makeup off again!

They ought to play new songs never performed live, and make a new studio album, and a marketing strategy for conquer the young people

I don't think we'll ever see any further new material from Gene after the below water contributions to the Psycho Circus and Asshole albums. The records were not unlike a testament to the musical constipation of the lizard boy. The guy is a train wreck of a songwriter.

Paul is not though...just listen to Live to Win. It's his sound.

But, will Paul carry the band through another Psycho Circus type of production? Provide all of the new music and then split the profits?? Doesn't make sense.

If I were Paul, I'd do another farewell tour with Gene, take half the money and release another solo album when it's done. Then I'd do another solo tour and sell some more finger paintings on the side. I might sell my son's paintings too, they might sell better.

Well, Gene does alot more on the side for himself without the other Kiss members ...just watch Family Jewels and all his schemes to sell this and that with the Kiss logo.
Admit it though, I think most of us would go see the show old or new. :D

Gene said that queen will open for them on there next tour and the only reason gene wants that is that its more money and if its more money more for him it makes gene a happy man

It´s sad but Kiss is nowadays only a big merchandise machine...

ASSHOLE blew chunks, but I disagree regarding PSYCHO CIRCUS. I think Gene's songs (WITHIN , WE ARE ONE and JOURNEY OF 1000 YRS) are the only real redeeming factor of that album. To me, it's Paul's stuff that's subpar- and don't get me STARTED on that horrid Peter Criss tune!

What can I say? 100 people can listen to a record and write 100 different reviews. I could see Gene going downhill when I heard Psycho Circus. Asshole was no surprise to me. But what do I know.

Yeah, ASSHOLE was just plain bad! We agree there...
