in his december 3rd update famed photographer ross halfin spills the beans

"I heard the tour around Europe next summer is Aerosmith, Van Halen and Guns N' Roses - still promoting Chinese Takeaway. I hear you get free chow mein with every ticket and if you buy two tickets you get the special for three or four persons - really, this is true and it's honoured at every Chinese in every city they play..."

truth?

Thats whats being shopped around to promoters right now. Classic Van Halen Line-Up. Minus Mike Anthony on Bass. Eddies son Wolfie is supposed to be playing Bass and Roth on Vocals.

Yeah. That's what I meant by the "if it was really VH" line. That's not VH. They could make so many fans happy if they just did it right.

Can see this tour now.
GNR will be a no show every other night
Aerosmith will be caught using tapes, when the tape quits and they hear how about Tyler really is after a few shows
and Van Halen family will all get on each others nerves as the have to listen to Alex doing lead vocals every night, because Eddie runs everyone off.
I would love to see this after a few weeks into tour-ERIC

You may be on to something, Eric. If any tour would make a great reality show, this one is it.

This wont happen!!! The care factor for G'N'R is zero anyway, and with the state of Van Halen at the moment, they would'nt be booking an event like this, before the fans saw them on tour before hand. If Wolfie has indeed joined the band as bassplayer, I pity what could happen at a show. Eddie should think about this. Hes ruined this band to a pulp. If Dave joins, I wish him luck but if I were Dave, I would'nt be going back unless Mike comes along for the ride. For the first time in my 20 years of being a VH fan, I'm not excited about their next move.
I took the addition of Gary Cherone as singer "on the chin". I'm just thankful they toured Oz and I got my first taste of VH and they pumped out a good setlist for that matter.
But now, its beyond a joke, beyond beleif and beyond all band bashing. I would'nt be surprised its not Dave as singer either.
