BLABBERMOUTH.NET can reveal that Rhino Records has once again pushed back the projected release date of VAN HALEN's "Best Of (1978-1984)", the first single-disc compilation exclusively spotlighting 1978-1984, the group's original David Lee Roth era — this time to April 3.

Anyone hear if they're recording a new tune or two for this?

Andrew says no.

I wish they'd crank one badass new jam out, though, in the vein of MWM/CGTSNM. But Rhino is STRICLY a catalogue compilation label, nothing newly recorded ever appears on Rhino.
