Well Andrew, I guess you'd better let us know via the PM then

I saw a clip of Eddie playing some solos from earlier this year and he was obviously drunk. This could be a problem on a big reunion tour and maybe the postponement or tour hiatus has something to do with him needing to seek help.

I'm just speculating but I thought of a few reasons why the tour has been postponed.

Eddie is in rehab.
Eddie wants to pay Wolfie more than Dave.
Eddie needs to go to rehab first so he can play better.
Val doesn't want Wolfie to tour with VH.

Good point also. How does Valerie feel about having her 16 year old son out on tour? Wolfie is gonna be exposed to a lot of things.

Why do the VH scouces always tell certain people but then tell them not to say anything? Why does VH always have to keep everything secret? I think they have pissed off their fans enough and they need all the publicity they can get. It must be something pretty negative.

Im sorry to say but I think its EDWARD VAN HALEN who is having a serious problem. It has to be his drinking. Wolfie and Alex should get this guy in rehab before its too late. DLR doesnt seem to be a problem right now. EVH does need help.

Could be all of this combined,well,maybe except #1...He's not in rehab yet,but I think that's his destination,hopefully sooner than later.

You are right on target, Knuclebones03, but Alex and Wolfie cannot do this for him. Ed has to really want to help himself, and I don't know if he's reached that point. I guess when he was in his 20's and 30's, no one thought much about the fact that he was wasted much of the time. Nothing wrong with having a few drinks, but when it controls your life, it's no longer a social thing. I hope he does get help, but he needs to do it for the right reasons.

I hope Eddie comes around to his senses like Danny Bonaduce did. It took him three stints in rehab to come clean, but due to his persistence he is now clean and sober - and actually quite entertaining for a change. It would be great to see EVH do the same.

Probably but why is he declining interviews? He has no problem granting Guitar World a interview to pimp his $30,000 guitar he wants to sell us.

Maybe he is just using Dave for publicity and to get his son's career launched.

So whats up with Eddie then? Whats the big secret? I dont think anything is a secret when it comes to Eddie anymore. As far as being stable,he seemed pretty stable on the Guitar World CD that came with the issue of him on the cover with his $30,000 replica guitar.

Yeah I reckon there are a few other things my girl and I would spend 30,000 on.....on the interview front, he's probably signed a contract that stipulates some interviews....but yeah, point taken.

Andrew, do you know when some news will be announced about this issue?

I don't expect anything for a while....maybe a tidbit next month at the HOF...depending on who goes. Lots to happen before this gets going again.

I really hope Eddie and Alex go even if they don't perform. I cant imagine those two not being there and at least giving a speech.
