All that I get out of that part is the Ed is hard to get a long with. Seems to be more than that to this fiasco.

How utterly cool is that guy? 8)

One thing I'd take issue with is the spin in that piece he's never gotten good reviews.

I remember 1013 getting very good reviews spawning 2 radio hits and Not4Sale and Living It Up got unbelievable reviews.

Met Sammy Hagar the last time he had a concert here in good ole Tampa Bay. He is sooooo down to earth and funny.

Not sure what Ed Van Halen's problem is - crummy way to treat your long time fans, dontcha think?

Happy to hear that Sammy, Michael and Dave will be there.

That is why I love and always have loved Sammy. I have 14 albums yes albums LOL! I saw him wayyyyyy back when with Krokus I think in like 1984. His enthusiasm and true love for what he does comes through loud and clear. He didn't act like it was a job. He didn't yell at the road crew or any other band members. He hit the stage with a smile and gave 110% singing from the rafters. He had fun and so did the whole crowd! My favorite album i its entirety is Standing Hampton. Although I cut my teeth om my older brother's Montrose album, I got every album from them on for the most part.

I loved Diamond Dave and I loved Sammy Hagar in Van Halen. I will take my son to Cabo when he gets a bit older and show him how the old folks do it!

I love the never say die attitude and the passion Sam lives his life by! He deserves to be in th HOF. Not many can say they have the longevity and accomplishments of Mr Hagar. ALbum sales are irrelevant, kids haven't a clue what good music is these days. They buy cd's for one song and then move onto the next hot band MTV promotes on one of their shows!

Keep doin the Cabo Wabo Sam. We want to join the fun!

Completely agree with your choice of Standing Hampton. IMO, the best work Sam ever did.
