I just got back from seeing Van Halen in Greensboro. It ranks up there as being one of the best concerts I have ever been to, if not THE best.
I'm kind of tired, so I don't remember the exact play list, but I know they played pretty much all of the big DLR hits and a few of the more obscure
songs such as Ice Cream Man, Little Guitars, Somebody Get Me A Doctor, etc... "Jump" was the encore song, and while they were playing that,
confetti fell from the ceiling along with a cool little light show. DLR is definitely a showman! A true frontman!! He was hilarious! You can tell the guys
were just in awe at the fact that they were all back on stage together! They really looked as if they truly enjoyed every minute of it. Eddie and Dave
seemed to be quite affectionate with each other on stage. I don't know if all of that was for show or if it was genuine, but Eddie and Dave played off
of each other all concert long. Wolfie did a great job on the bass and vocals. I do miss Michael Anthony, but WVH was ok. I could tell that Wolfie sang
backing vocals. I'm sure Van Halen might have piped in some taped backing vocals, but I really couldn't tell. Dave sounded pretty good too. He looked
good. As matter of fact, all of them looked like they were in great shape. Which is a good thing, because playing two hours a night with every song
being a rocker will wear a guy out! That was the loudest, must high energy show I have been to in quite a long while! The crowd was great. Couldn't
see an empty seat in the house.

I even got to see the world's greatest mullet there! A guy (looked like he was close to 50) had the long hair and a body wave perm on the top of his head!
It was much, much worse than Joe Dirt, but it was hilarious! Where are these guys on a daily basis? Hey, if you're unsure about getting tickets, don't be! It's
worth every penny! The T-shirts are too expensive though. $35 a pop!

What I've posted on other sites:

Just got back. This show, like the one two nights ago in Charlotte, was awesome.

If it wasn't an official sellout, it might as well have been. I checked today and there were only single tickets available behind the stage...and they looked full, too...those people were as pumped as us folks down low!!

Same setlist.

Wolfgang looked much more comfortable. We sat on his side, so we were pretty close to him. He made eye contact and smiled at us a lot more, pumped his fists several times, and was generally more animated than in Charlotte.
I watched his fingers a lot...that kid can PLAY. Then remember he's 16 and will only get better.

Eddie came over to Wolf's side a few more times than in Charlotte....a really touching moment during "I'll Wait", when we say Eddie say to Wolf "I love you", with a huge grin on his face.

I do miss Mikey, but I really am starting to think that Eddie wanting to play with his son was almost as big a factor as whatever beef he had with Mikey was.

Not as much feedback tonight. Several technical snafus, but no big deal. It'll happen from time to time.

During the break in "I'm The One", where they let the crowd just roar with adulation, Dave and Eddie both were either wiping tears away, or pretending to.
I think they might really have been emotional...they held that pause in the music a lot longer than in Charlotte, and the crowd got louder and louder...Dave mouthed that he couldn't sing...he and Eddie looked at each other and both pointed to their faces and wiped tears. Then after the music started back, Dave was still shaking his head and occasionally wiping his eyes.

Anyone who's on the fence still, get off it, and get your ass to a show.

I am not a member at Dime, nor do I do torrents. I am just providing the link posted. So don't shoot the messenger.. :P
Anyway, if you do torrents and are a member at Dime, Greensboro is supposed to be available here-
