Do you mean her first three cds or next three cds. I would agree about the first three cds. The next three I though were pretty bad. Get Nervous was the last great Pat Benatar cd.

I agree with Eric. Her first three were good, but a lot on those albums were written by other people. I think she really branched out after Get Nervous and her and Neil really got creative. Wide Awake in Dreamland is my favorite album by her. I also really like Innamorata.

FYI-Neil and Pat are reworking some of their hits into an acoustic album set for release in 2008

Go is my overall favorite right now.

But the finest single piece of music they've ever recorded, and there many fine ones, is the single track In The Heat Of The Night with the most jaw dropping smoky moody atmospheric guitars you will tune your ears on.

OMG...yes! And don't forget the angel voices in that song: "Why oh why". Love it....

Yes, the Angel Why Oh Why? s are totally cool.
They made mention of not knowing where she conjured those vocals in the liner notes of Synchonistic Wanderings.

Go would have been a hit if released many years ago. A lot of good music falls to the wayside nowadays-ERIC
