Shannon Noll

Well, I tried 2 find a tread about Shannon here on MRforum thru search and failed. Surprise!
He's from Australia and I expected Andrew to paid some attention 2 Shannon here on board. Especially if 2 take into account than there was a review from Andrew on his 2nd album on the main site (that's how I exactly discovered that outstanding singer).
So, let me introduce him.
He recently recorded and released (middle of September) his 3rd album - 'Turn It Up'. And that's what pushed me 2 light up an interest 2 his person.
Shannon Noll's career could be compared 2 that one of last year big sensation Chris Daughtry. He also developed thru the ranks of 'Idol' system. Not 'American Idol' but 'Australian Idol'. Yet he wasn't just a finalist, he was non other but runner-up of the debut season of 'Australian Idol' back in 2003.
Musically he's in quite other direction than Daughtry - no Nickelback style songs and modern rock. It's typical AOR at it's best. Great rockers with positive hooks and crying ballads, which are force U 2 sing along all the time. All three albums are full of great songs. Actually every single song could easily be a big hit worldwide. There's no crap, no fillers. U can disagree, but that's my opinion. I just can't stop listening since I've got his last album near a month ago. It also forced me to put the first 2 albums to my iPod again as well and the rest is predictable - I've just playin' 'em day by day.
Shame on me, I'm sayin' this, but these last weeks I almost 4got the one and the only Jeff Scott Soto.
I'm all into JSS stuff, but now it's time 4 Shannon Noll mostly. Believe me, this guy deserves your attention.
