Forget co-headlining. Kiss needs to just go out balls to the wall and play a 2 to 3 hour show with songs spanning their whole career. If they absolutely feel they an opening act let it be somebody that might play 30 minutes then get off the stage. :)

Paul's voice wouldn't be able to handle a 2-3 hour show. It's essentially shot now as it is.

They should record a new album before they do ANY more touring....then do a 90 minute kick-ass show with 4-5 tracks off the newie, half a dozen classics and a few rarities.

So Kiss announced their CANADIAN summer tour today, yet more than half the top fifteen cities leading the voting in their "fan routed tour" are...you guessed it, CANADIAN CITIES that aren't on the tour schedule they just released!

SOOOOOOOOOO....does this mean that this tour, like so many other things this band has done in the past ten years, is just a sham? You know that after they play a Summer Canadian tour, they aren't gonna go back and play these little Canadian towns.

I knew it! I heard it from a very reliable source that the fan routed tour is a sham!

No, you don't know it.

The 8 Canadian tour dates in July are part of KISS' Alive/35 world tour not part of KISS' tour in support of their new studio cd which is scheduled to be released in September/October. The tour in support of this new studio cd is the tour that KISS teamed up with Eventful in determining where to play.

The new studio cd is rumored to be called "360". It's scheduled to be released in September/October. It'll be a Walmart exclusive release in the U.S. Paul, Gene, Tommy, and Eric wrote/co-wrote all of the songs (no outside song writers), all four members sang lead vocals on the cd, and all four played all of the music (no outside musicians). "Rotten To The Core" and "Yeah" are two tracks on the new cd. There are 11 tracks in all.

Michael Doret, the artist who created the "Rock And Roll Over" lp cover, has designed the cover for the new studio cd. The U.S. (and most likely Canadian) tour is scheduled to start in September and run for 60 shows. The cd is either finished or is within days of being finished. They are currently discussing if new outfits will be designed for the new tour. Buckcherry will be the opening band.

Roll your eyes all you want sparky. You watch and see if those cities are included in the so called "fan routed tour". I'm betting the tour was already routed (long before the contest deadline). Why would it make sense for the to come BACK to these small Canadian cities a month or two AFTER they've already hit the major markets? I could certainly be wrong...but I doubt it.

Right. I can't admit it. That's why I said "I could be wrong"...

Methinks this lady doth protest too much. Anyone smell a plant???

And while I'm at it...I've been a Kiss fan for over 30 years, and done more than my share of helping to make those guys wealthy men. I love the band for what they used to be, but have been a bit dissapointed by some of their actions of late.
That's my right as a fan, and as someone who's defended these guys for years! Hell, I went round and round on a chat site recently about what bullshit it is that Jann Weiner and Dave Marsh are pretty much single (double?) handidly keeping KISS out of their rightful place in the R and R Hall of Fame. I lost all respect for both of those guys as a result.
I have no crystal ball nor do I posess ESP, so I can only go by what I hear. The jist of what I heard was more speculation than fact, and if it seemed I was stating fact, I was in error. But hey...at least we've started a little chatter on this once dead board, right?

You stated "I could be wrong". The thing is you were wrong. You didn't know the facts about the current Alive/35 tour (nothing to do with Eventful) and the fall tour in support of the new studio cd (in partnership with Eventful).

As I stated above know what you're talking about before posting.
