I have witnessed over 75 international acts play in Sydney over the last 18 years, and I have to say that Perfect Nothing delivered a show that ranks in my top 15. As an Aussie band, one that I hope is soon to be recognised for their amazing live show and great songs, I paid $15 for a show that was exciting, visually stunning, professionally delivered and one that oozed class. I should have paid $50 for the effort this band put in. The work that went into the stunning edited visuals that was displayed on 4 huge screens onstage was enthralling all the way till the end. The last 2 songs-Jesus Freak and My Soul had the crowd in awe and shock at what they were witnessing. Many walked away still lifting their mouths from the concert long after the beer had dried from their lips. What we saw tonite was an exciting Female vocal rock act, backed by 3 extremely talented male musicians that this country is craving for. I will not give away much more as it is a must for all rock fans to check this band out, as the visual show in itself is mindblowing. The musicianship is first class and Van Halen would be proud of the killer solos that I witnessed in some of the songs. The drummer is one solid beast behind a kit and the bassist rocks hard. 400 people walked away from the Gaelic never to forget that show. A true gem.
