Did some research on this for you, Paul. It was originally a keyboard piece from 1981 that they never really finished. They were going to use it as a show opener and at the last minute the label talked them into putting it on the album. Because it was to be the show opener they named the album The Final Countdown as well. The label talked them into releasing it as the first single to radio stations and the thing went straight up the charts worldwide. Originally, the band wanted
Rock The Night to be the lead track released. To answer your question;
On Broken Wings later became the B-side track.
