I was walking through Sears today and Kelly Hansen's soaring vocals caught my ear. I look over to the nearest TV and they're demoing the band's Soundstage performance! I didn't even know it had been released yet. Anyone else here already have it?

Yep. It is awesome, of course. Available for purchase through Sears on Blu Ray. Perfect reason to get a Blu Ray Player if ya don't have one! :) Been out a few weeks, or so....

Did they only make it available on Blu-Ray or is it available on regular DVD too?

Since Foreigner will be appearing on the Ellen show, will it be a possibility that they might be talking about 1) the new album we keep hearing about? 2) the Soundstage performance?

Will the Soundstage DVD be available after the actual airing on PBS later this month? I know it's already available on Blu-Ray.

I saw the Ellen show today, and they sounded awesome.

I must add thought, the drumming seemed a bit different, and the frequent cymbal crashes seemed distracting and out of place in such a well known song. I know the current drummer is Bryan Head, now that Jason Bonham has left. Is he the permanent replacement, or is he just until they find the permanent replacement? Regardless, I wish he would stick to the record more with his drumming.

But....that is just my opinion.

I was able to catch the uploads from the broadcast on YouTube (and the unaired performance of Jukebox Hero after the show). They sounded good as usual, but I wonder if Kelly was fighting a cold or possibly having problems hearing things in the mix -- don't get me wrong, I think he as well as the band are awesome and I see them anytime they're close by (finances pending lol) -- I only say this because something seemed slightly off, but the key seemed to be the same...anyway enough on that.

I would agree that the current drummer could tone back a little more to form or be tasteful in his playing...then again, I'm just a keyboard player

As far as Bryan being permanent, no clue.

With the broadcast coming up for Foreigner on Soundstage, I was wondering if anyone knows what the original setlist was (I don't think it was posted on the PBS website yet) in comparison to what was put on the DVD (well, Blu-Ray for now)?

LLWFH would have been great, because it is awesome live!

What I watched tonight was awesome, Kelley and the rest of the band sounded phenomenal and I seriously mean that! I'm definitely buying that DVD.
