Last night it was hotter than hell alright and that goes for the weather as well!
What a fantastic show!!!!!....never would I have thought that a bunch of 60 year
olds could rock out so well.
Of course I'm still riding my concert high and it took me a long while to find slumber
after last nights superb show.

Lisa and I left here at around 7:15pm and decided to go eat at the Casino
buffet first, great move on our part as it wasn't busy at all, we just missed
the dinner dash.
The food was delicious and I may have eaten my body weight in smelt
and sweet & sour pork.
We then went to the gift shop for a quick look around and scooted out
for a smoke before the concert started.
It was packed and we couldn't spot one empty seat in the house.
The show started with a bang that got my blood pumper pounding right off
and they didn't waist a damn minute getting right down to the rock'n'roll of things.
Deuce was played first followed by Strutter which is a favorite of mine lately.
Paul did most of the conversing with the crowd while Gene was very demonly
dandy with his theatrics and tongue tricks.
Tommy Thayer was terrific during his guitar solo as fireworks flew from
his ax, I really enjoyed his efforts.
My favorite for the night though was Eric Singer, I couldn't take my eyes off of him.
He chewed gum the whole time and it didn't take away from his voice at all.
It was great to see him do his solo while he and his kit rose 30 feet in the air.
The guy gave great facial expressions throughout and I wish we could have been
right up front just so I could see him better.

I really didn't think there would be the pyrotechnics that I've heard always take
center stage at a KISS show just because it was in a smaller Casino venue
but man was I wrongly about that one.
There were 10 foot high flames and boomers that busted us right in the belly.
I don't know how it didn't singe the Sir's hair with them standing right there, we
could feel the flashes of fire from where we sat a ways back.
At one point Tommy was lifted on a platform to play and then later Gene was pulled
by wires above the stage to perform on what looked like a ceiling scaffold.
Amazing the nerve they had, I know you wouldn't have gotten me up there
for anything.

It's hard to pick one song I liked more than the others because they were
all done so well.
I'll go with three instead, Strutter, Lick It Up and Detroit Rock City.
To bad they didn't decide to play a new track from the upcoming cd, Stanley
spoke of it more than once and I found it rather rude to radiate about it and
not let us sample the goods.
We were only expecting a 90 min show, however we didn't grumble or mumble
when they gave us two hours worth.
Paul promised they'd be back in October and I do think Windsor will hold them to it!
I'll Shout It Out Loud...a thunderous thank you to KISS for a wonderful night had by us.

Here is the set list from what I wrote down, don't stone me if I screwed up as I am

Great review, Moonbeam! Very exciting to read! No one ever goes away from a Kiss show bored. That's for sure!
