1984, I'd buy the album and create cassettes for the car. Had a '79 hot rod black T/A. Played these tunes over and over jammin' down the freeway in the middle of the night.

Is there really any Foreigner song that doesn't sound great in the car?

I've totally dumped Journey, Styx, REO, etc. off my music player and have jogging to Foreigner every other night. Even their ballads rock.

I wanted to hate them after the problems with Lou but Kelly has restored my faith in the band.

Feels Like The First Time.

Completely on board with this. When I'm lifting or cycling, any Foreigner or Gramm is a must. With the other bands, I either have to pick the tracks or do a lot of skipping.

Gramm's the defining factor why they're a cut above the other bands in the "rock" department. Yes even above his high beakness. Gramm's 77- 95 voice was imo much more distinctive than any other singer.

I wanted to hate them after the problems with Lou but Kelly has restored my faith in the band.

Until the most recent clip, Kelley hadn't impressed me enough to get excited about the band. The new track may not be hit material but its definitely not filler like a lot of REO's was. I have high hopes for this new cd.

Kelly is a guy had a taste of mild success with Hurricane (a TOP 40 HIT), was in real band with ties to all kinds of rock acts, Ozzy, White Snake Dio, etc. A real professional who has toiled away with Foreigner going on 5 years now with nothing to show for it except a lot of roadwear. I am really hoping this album works out for him. He's not getting any younger and the last tour has started to show a little strain in his voice. I'd like to see him have a big payday, despite not being a feel good story like Pineda.
