Norton has deep pockets. I wonder how much coin was given to the boys here. And no music, so no nasty publishers getting a cut either.

Rip will be all over this - I should send him a PM.

I found out about these last week but first saw it last night. Gotta love some funny publicity for Dokken. Great stuff!

Can't view it on my iPhone but will later. Just a few words though...

#1 - Don Dokken has never choked a chicken in his life, and when Metal Sludge asked him about that in an interview, he said something like "That's what women are for" (I'll try to find the exact quote later).

#2 - Don would rescue us from Norton Internet Security, not the other way around.

Hell, I thought this was some sort of joke but it's the real deal! SWEET!!!!!! Makes me almost want to use Norton products again. Well, not quite, but it's the thought that counts. Wonder how they got the idea to do this? DON RULES!!!

Where's Barry Sparks?!?

That's why I put two links. :D

Kimbo actually has three for his. I just didn't include the last one as it was a bit lame.

But Don says, "This ain't over..." That was just one round, and that chicken will find he's holding the wrong edge of the blade before it's over.

Here's the interactive version of the ad from Symantec's website. You can choose to allow or deny Dokken to molest your chicken. I could play this thing for hours!

Ya want some fresh LYNCH?!? Check out samples from Lynch Mob's new album Smoke and Mirrors:

http://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamc ... %20Mirrors

It features the return of original Lynch Mob vocalist Oni Logan, who according to Don was once punched out by George!

Image

(George Lynch) slugged Oni Logan right in the face and the other singer (Robert Mason) too. That’s something he always wanted to do to me but knew he couldn’t... I’m 6’1" and a black belt. ~ Don Dokken

Did you listen to the clips? What did you think? I just realized last night that I missed Dokken close to Nashville a week ago, and I probably could have made it! At least I'll be there at the end of October for Stryper and am already planning something special for that event.

Let me look up some Lynch Mob dates and see what's in store. :)

Excellent find, Rip; these are not on their Myspace page, which I have been watching. Houston is very do-able; just need to rustle up somebody to go with.

Oh, Yea! Let's do it! My sis is in too; she's lots of fun. Tickets are only 15 bucks. Meridian is a serious dive, but who cares?

Scrounged a ticket for Chickenfoot this Wednesday too, so I'll be there. Ken the Dude also.

La Meechee!!!! You two are going to have a blast! No way you can't meet George after the show, so I expect LOTS of pictures and stories, por favor!

Fu, I found the dates here -- may want to bookmark this site: http://georgelynch.ning.com

Interesting that he uses the same hosting company as AP's first site did. For a while I thought NING was actually based in the Philippines, but I guess that wasn't the case.

Proggie, Lynch is hitting Ohio for 3 dates on the 15th (Toledo), 16th (Cambridge) and 20th (Lakewood). If any of those cities are close to you, your attendance becomes mandatory.

Any ideas on HOW to manage to meet George after the show. Well other than asking Lami to wear a cleavage shirt? 8)
