Beautiful lady, very talented, and apparently has had no professional training at all. She should win - but does Vegas really need another opera singer? - the guy who won last year was an opera singer also. Having said that, speaking of opera, I'm kinda pulling for the Texas tenor guys - they're the perfect Vegas act! Grandma Lee's kind of a hoot too.

One of my favorite past winner in this show was the ventriloquist guy, Terry Fator, love this guy.

I second that, Terry Fator is a true talent, he makes all his puppets come to life. I just bought his Live from Las Vegas DVD newly released. He has a way of mesmerizing the audience. He will always be the best winner of America's Got Talent, but Barbara Padillo is also a talented lady and is clearly the winner of this years competition.

Watchin' America's Got Talent right now...Barbara looks and sounds like a star already and I don't usually care for opera. Grandma Lee is a character :lol:

I liked Kevin Skinner before only because he seems so genuine but the vocals tonight were bad! Voices of Glory were good but not a vegas act. The rest are forgettable.

Kevin Skinner won...it's rigged. I mean he seems like a real sweet guy but c'mon, Barbara is perfect. I knew something was fishy when Hasselhoff commented on Monday's show something about forget Vegas, you could sell out halls to her. Thanks for letting the cat out of the bag...the show hasn't even started yet here in California and now I know the winner. So much for a climatic moment.

I can't believe that guy won.He seems really down home and nice.But give me a break he was not that good.I thought it would be Barbara or the Texas Tenors.That just sucks.But the best part of the show was Susan she was great love the way she sung wild horses.

I thought Recycled Percussion were fucking AWESOME and had Vegas show written all over them. The opera chick had an amazing voice, but I don't know a whole lot of people going to Vegas to watch an opera show. The good ol' boy from Kentucky won because he was the most likeable guy in the history of any "reality" show. He did VERY well singing country songs, but his performance of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss a Thang'" was a fucking abortion and not worthy of winning anything!

+1. I really thought Barbara Padilla will win the show, but you're right Recyled Percussion should have win it because of their unique performance. Just tired of seeing singers winning in this kind of talent show. Susan Boyle is just meh..but Shakira, man o man, this latina is freakin hot, I know she's lypsinching but look at those hips :shock:

Not me. I went to one of those kinds of shows and had a massive headache afterwards.

I was stunned the chicken guy won b/c of his Aerosmith rendition, but I have to admit his first song the first week was so beautifully delivered and brought me to tears.

Kevin Skinner is a sweet humble guy and I'm glad he won and can live his dream (despite his lack of stellar talent). Barbara is amazing and she'll have work but pure opera for Vegas? - wonder what happened to the opera guy who won last year. I thought it should have been Recycled Percussion or the Texas Tenors - more suitable for Vegas.

Gawd I cannot stand David Hasselhoff - his little 'jokes' putting 'hoff' in every word got pretty tiring after the first time. Not to mention his 'impression' of Kevin Skinner - to me it sounded more like he was making fun of him. Asshole. I quite like this show but he has to go.
