Any beer that is brewed in strict accordance with the Reinheitsgebot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinheitsgebot)

Becks tops that list. However, Warsteiner, St Pauli Girl, Spaten, etc are all up there.

It is a pretty heavy beer... but very worth it...

I drank that Elephant on your recommendation or maybe Gunbot's for the first time a month and a half ago, I had 7 of them before I switched, I swear to god my shit smelled EXACTLY like the beer out of the bottle the next morning. Fuckin didn't leave a good impression on me

I love all kinds of good beer though... let's get a few here:

Boddington's Pub Ale is one of my favorites right now...

Guinness

Sam Adams White Ale and Winter Lager (other than that I've kinda soured on Sam... too hoppy or exaggerated a lot of the time)

Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold

Great Lakes Oktoberfest

Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat

Hoegaarden

Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat

Shiner Bock

St. Pauli Girl Special Dark

Yuengling Lager when I travel to PA (can't get in Ohio)

Yuengling Black+Tan

I'm not terribly discriminating... love all beer styles as long as it's done well... sometimes I'm in the mood for a certain style or not in the mood for another.

Matt
you shouldve started with regular Carlsberg.

Also , we didn't take in consideration that you wanted your shit to smell like a rose garden after drinkin a twelve pack , otherwise we wouldve warned you ahead of time. I apologize on behalf of Gunbot & myself.

Dude, I'm serious, my bathroom stunk like a slightly skunked Pilsener! The only time that's ever happened to me was after a rough night of drinking Beast.

I haven't seen any Carlsberg that's not Elephant in my Giant Eagle... I'll have to go check out one of the specialty shops. I will say, my Giant Eagle has a killer beer selection and actually so does Heinen's - you guys don't have Heinen's down in your part of Ohio do you? Pretty sure it's a Cleveland based chain.

I haven't had any bad hefeweizens. It really couldn't be any better had Jesus himself pissed straight into a bottle and capped it.

Sol ($4 a 12-pack cheaper than Corona here)

PBR (It's badass)

Sol's a good one! Way better than Corona... none of that cheap finish that Corona has. And Walt Kowalski kicks ass. PBR definitely belongs in my shitty beer thread though

The Supermarkets tend to have it on sale more often than the liquor store, so it's a no brainer when I'm picking up grub.

Any beer I make myself!

I just finished brewing up my soon-to-be-famous "Stu's Brews IPA", a super hopped up IPA, with an alcohol content of 13.4%!
