They also did "Love" off of Sparkle Lounge. It was one of 3 bonus songs on the Crossroads dvd....It's on youtube if anyone cares to put it up. (I'm at work and youtube is blocked)

The song is great and it sounds awesome with the an orchastra on stage with them.

  hmm maybe is me...but i really don't see the talent in Taylor Swift, doesn't impress me at all, very pretty nice girl but she seem to have a very week voice...about Elliott, he lost his pretty voice in the high part of the song...at the end is a good thing this song is play live

She looked more comfortable singing a couple of the other songs. She looks too tight here, not moving too much.

Elliott was never the quintessential vocalist and his endless cigarette smoking didn't help. I always liked the uniqueness of his voice and thought he sounded like Joe Elliott in that clip. I think it's apparent to even him that he can't sing like he used to. Just watching the guy, you can tell that he's really working his ass off to get the notes out. You still have to respect the hell out of this band for being together all of these years, with VERY few changes in their lineup and the main one being Viv Campbell replacing Steve Clark after Clark died. Willis got thrown out early on (during Pyromania) for being a booze bag. Other than that, they're the same guys going out there and doing their thing. I will always admire these guys for sticking with Rick Allen after his near fatal car accident. Can you even begin to imagine Journey sitting around waiting to see if their drummer would still be able to drum after losing a freakin' arm???? Neal would be on youtube within 8 seconds perusing drum solos

I think it's all the above combined with touring endlessly for the past few years. Up until X, they only toured every once in a while. I saw one of the free shows they did when X came out, and Joe Elliott was darn near note perfect. I was amazed. By the time of the full tour, he was a little ragged, then got progressively worse. He's lost quite a bit of range over the past few years--and touring every year isn't helping.

Cigarettes can't be helping him here. Sounds like Joe needs to do whatever Jimi Jamison did to try and regain a bit of his voice. Jamison, who smokes a lot also, has also lost a lot, but recovered some of it.

He needs to just quit smoking. Burton Cummings quit in December and his vocals were NIGHT and DAY between when I saw him this summer compared with the previous summer. Although Elliott will not magically sound like a 25-year-old again, he will be able to recover better night-to-night (Burton says 3 shows 3 days in a row used to kill him, now it's no sweat) and will arguably/likely lose some of the overall strain that's creeped into his voice these last several years.
