I have listened to four of the new songs in their entirety on You Tube. However, the new compositions are too lightweight for my personal taste.
Can it become any more obvious that KISS has different levels of songwriting?
Why is it that when the band played without make-up the music became heavier and heavier. However, as soon as they put on the costumes again. The compositions went toward the lightweight division.
Here are some of the songs that I want to see KISS play in full costume: (would someone really have a heart attack?)
UNHOLY
IT NEVER GOES AWAY
NOT FOR THE INNOCENT
HATE
MASTER & SLAVE
SEDUCTION OF THE INNOCENT
TOUGH LOVE
SPIT
RAIN
I watched a conspiracy theory film about 9/11 called "September Clues" and I got this idea just last week. I think it would be the ultimate midnight cult classic having KISS play some of their heavier compositions in full costume, particularly the costume from the DYNASTY tour where they looked like buzzards. With some of the more evil scenes from September Clues tossed in. Slow motion video of the doomsday planes going into the side of the building. People jumping out the windows. Bush sitting with children in the Kindergarten class looking stupid. etc. There would even be some room to put the Zapruder footage from the JFK assassination.

Have you heard "I'm An Animal"? To me that sounds like it's right off Revenge.

A mix of Creatures and Revenge.
The scream at the end of "Animal" is straight from the "Unholy" book of screams.

Yep, I agree. I really dig the album. Really kinda po'ed to hear Paul say that they were only gonna play DELILAH on this tour. Big mistake, I think.
