I just wanted to use the word "Rocktober" in a post.....love it.....:lol: :lol:............. :oops:

be careful about using the word "rocktober." the colorado rockies' lawyers may come after you! :wink: the hard rock cafe had been using "rocktober" in conjunction with their breast cancer awareness campaign for years. last year, the rockies made them stop, so hard rock had to change it to "pinktober." now there's a battle between activision & EA over the use of "rocktober" in video game ads.

Well....maybe I trump all of them.....

I first heard it approx. 20 years ago - a CT DJ was on the air one day, and announced the day as "ROCKtober" whatever-it-was.

Sooooo.....perhaps they cribbed it from ME!!! :lol: :twisted:
