I'm not making a joke. That's what they're saying & as much as I love Springsteen, I hope this isn't true or that their deal falls through b/c I want to see someone different. Who wants to see the same performer two years in a row???? Not me.

Well that sucks. I actually hoping for Kanye (not)

BTW, I had no problem with Bruce doing Superbowl, but it should be someone else each year.

Bon Jovi has their documentary coming out the end of this month and their new album out next month. An appearance at the Super Bowl could be the perfect way to kick off a new tour.

That's what you call marketing.

Fools!
This is where Perry makes his return appearence. How many bets that he's been asked?

How to best get his new album on the road.

I'm sure he will do that just fine with his acquired confidence from having toured the last several years. oh wait........

Actually, you're right on that, except one account....they had been on break and not touring. The guys hadn't even had a rehearsal prior to SB.

Other than STEVE PERRY, Who would you want to see play the Super Bowl half-time show?

Hmmm.... I asked a question I can't even answer myself. Need to do some thinking first. 8)

KISS already did a half time show a number of years ago. Would they do one again? Would the SB promoters want another "replay" of KISS there? I was thinking about what someone suggested, that Bon Jovi would appear. Well, that is certainly possible, but I don't know if they want to get someone who's already put out an album that has high ratings already. Only issue/question I have about BJ would be, would they want to bring them on if they don't know how the album is going to sell? I may be wrong, but I thought the SB promoters get acts on who they know for a fact put out what the public craved. Journey played at the SB but that was way after the album was released and everyone got a feel for how it sold, which was outstanding.

Maybe U2 will perform. Their a good fit for the times.

They just had Tom Petty on a few years back. His last Platinum release was in 2001.

Journey played in the pre-game Beer Garden with other artists, a totally different scenario from the halftime show.

Okay---- since this is my Fantasy Pick for who I would like to have play at the 2010 Super Bowl, I pick a collaboration of everyone on this site who either sings, plays an instrument and is or isn’t in a band:

1. GI Jim
2. Stevew2
3. Ehwmatt
4. Jeremey
5. Comedyisnotpretty
6. SuzieP
.............. & so on & so on. That would be the shit & something I would TRULY love to see. :D

If I left anyone out, feel free to add them to the list.
