You cannot say that with any certainty at all - That's why they play the games!
In fact most of the teams they have faced have had horrid QB's, or injured QB's or completely rookie QB's, the only decent QB they have faced is a 38 year old Kurt Warner who has NO running game and an offensive line that is struggling to protect him.
The Colts have yet to face anyone above average except for the Miami Dolphins and Miami outplayed them and owned them in every aspect of the game except at the end Manning made the play and the rookie Miami QB could not.
The Ravens, the Vikings, the Broncos, The Jets, the Patriots, the Falcons, the Eagles, and the Bengals all have at least even odds of beating the Colts on a neutral field.
The Saints and the Giants would take the Colts apart, especially that suspect secondary that's missing Sanders.

I can say anything I want to say. It's an opinion. I've been following the NFL religiously since the 70's so I'm well aware that any team can defeat any other team. I simply think the Colts are the best team in the NFL right now.Zedul wrote: The Colts have yet to face anyone above average except for the Miami Dolphins and Miami outplayed them and owned them in every aspect of the game except at the end
That's like saying the play was pretty good for Abe Lincoln with the exception of the ending![]()

Right...and that fella Manning has done this once or twice!Zedul wrote: The Ravens, the Vikings, the Broncos, The Jets, the Patriots, the Falcons, the Eagles, and the Bengals all have at least even odds of beating the Colts on a neutral field.
No shit Sherlock! Hell, the fucking Detroit Lions could defeat them too. I'm just not betting my life savings on it. It's about having an opinion!Zedul wrote: The Saints and the Giants would take the Colts apart, especially that suspect secondary that's missing Sanders.
That's your opinion. The fact of the matter is that Drew Brees didn't throw one single touchdown against a horrible Buffalo Bills team and didn't throw a single touchdown against a Jets team that Miami's rookie QB threw two touchdowns against! I think the Saints are a good football team, but their offense hasn't been nearly as consistent as you think they've been. The reality is that 6 of Drew Brees' 9 touchdowns on the season came against arguably the worst team in the NFL in week one when they faced Detroit. I should probably also mention that New Orleans gave up 27 points to a Detroit team who can't score to save their life! I'll take the Colts against either one of those teams, at this particular moment in time. My opinion may change 6 weeks from now.

Sort of like the Saints took them apart, eh?![]()
