everytime we go somewhere my four year old son begs me to turn the radio on.i'll turn it on and then he starts jamming out.a few seconds later he is screaming turn it up loud.then that followed by louder.i can do this when its just us but not when he sister or mom is in the vehicle.he does not like mellow stuff like the eagles or anything middle of the road.if it isn't melodic with a fast killer riff then he screams for me to turn the station. 8)

his favorites off escape are keep on runnin, lay it down and stone in love.

favorites off frontiers are edge of the blade, chain reaction and rubicon.

That's not a problem, that's a kickass son! Get him a guitar or some drums asap.

But do try and refine his tastes as he gets older, the mellow stuff is good too 8)

LOL, when they get older they don't "ask" anymore. JSS's Live At The Gods cd gets lots of play in my car.........my daughter usually picks out the Gods cd, hits track 7 (Stand Up and Shout) and cranks it up. If I'm driving her anywhere, I pretty much know what cd we are going to be listening to.

Get him a little 512mb MP3 player and let him go to town...he'll feel like a Rock Star! 8)

When my son got his first portable CD player w/ headphones (around 7 years old) it was the greatest thing in the world...he's 16 now and on his second iPod.
