Well, reality is what it is, I still have no idea where my new job position will be, and if I will make the same pay. Some of my co-workers are going places where they will be laid off after one month then they are out of work. What the...?!! What is my response to all this madness? Breathe. Just breathe.

Had a blast celebrating Steve Lukather's birthday! I personally am grateful for the kindness of these noted folks in acknolwdging their fans.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Me? Cleaning, mom's flu shot, make a Halloween costume for my spaz niece's weiner dog.

Hey MBPL....got a question for ya....

Would you toe the company line just to keep your job, even though that meant sacrificing your belief system....or would you stand up for yourself, voice your opinion - knowing it might mean your job?

since we are on the topic of having the 'balls' to act at work.....

Well, at this point it is not an option to "toe" anything. Our Mayor and our dept. head cut the budget, but forgot to factor in the outcome. They are leaving the departments without admin support, makes no sense. We even gave up ten paid holidays and offered to give up more to keep our jobs, but the dept. head refused to accept it. And what is worse it is our union who got us the shaft, strung us along then got us laid off. I suppose that even if I stand up for my position and for this department, there is nothing to stand up for. It is set in stone, whatever the hell that is.

I did what I could, faced the board of Sups, been in the newspaper, went to the Health Commission for answers...I did all that and still we are being shafted. Hey, if I am retaliated against for my actions, oh well, I’d rather go out with a fight than a whimper. Hope I answered your question, I'm a "rambler."
