Loved the first two. Basically liked Calm Before the Storm. Loved Belief. Ambivalent about Beneath the Shining Water. Haven't heard enough of the new samples to determine an opinion. Getting Vinny Burns back in the band should bode well for the 2013 release.

Dare is basically "muzak" at this point, The only thing different about this cd from the last 3 is Wharton hopefully has changed his underwear

Yes Larry every song on the last 4 or 5 cds are Exactly the same as this song....and there lies the problem

Wow,i just found out that the singer from Dare suffers from SSDDS....maybe i was being a little hard on him....i had no idea he was afflicted with this.

I do agree that Darren has been repeating himself for a few albums. The new one seems to be more uptempo though. Not rocking, but uptempo for recent Dare standards

Barring the Blood From Stone album, Dare was never hard rock, but they have their own little niche that they do quite well as long as you aren't looking for rock.
