Makes you wonder if the ref was gonna blow the lid off NBA refs, the commish, and past playoff fixes....

I have been saying forever that the NBA was fraudulent.

I finally got one right it appears. Fucking joke of a league.

agreed 100% here... NBA is worst league... NFL is best.... and MLB is a close 2nd...
and you would think that the NBA would be great with all the people who love NCAA mens basketball....

Love NCAA basketball...hate the NBA.

Wouldn't go to an NBA game unless you gave a free ticket and offered to buy the popcorn, nachos and beer. Paying to watch a bunch of thugs play one-on-one offense is not appealing in the least.

I did have the "opportunity" to go to one game at the Palace and it was ZZZZzzzzz event.

Then to top if off, knowing how much they are being paid. Where is Obama's salary czar when you need him.

NBA players have contributed to the downfall of society. Whether Sir Charles Barkley thinks they should be or not, they are roll models... piss poor ones at that.

Oh great, my kid wants to grow up to be just like Allen Iverson, or any of the many that have children and their single mom's strung out from coast to coast. Thank God I have three daughters.

Having said that...I was impressed with Joe DuMars and Grant Hill at the game I went to. Grant seemed like a good guy and Joe acted like a true gentleman. Why can't people like them be lifted up on the pedestal like the idiots of the world?

What a post. Nice. +1000

I love the salary czar on Wall Street because they took taxpayer money and still live too lavishly. The NBA guys didn't get a bailout.

Those Wall Street firms and exec's should have to pay the taxpayers back for every frickin bailout dollar they received. That was horseshit.

Here's an example of why this really sucks. My company and several friends lost money in a bank failure here last year. We received no relief from the government. Then they bail out the banks, but not the consumers that got screwed. Later they raise the FDIC limit...but too late for many. That is BS. Oops of topic. Sorry.

Look, Neither Obama nor Bush had any real choice here. The lack of regulation was and is the cause of the ridiculous looseness on WS...We couldn't as a financial society allow certain firms to fail. That is the dark ugly truth. They had to be bailed out and the one good thing I like about Obama is he is making these CEO's stay honest here.

The recruiting is pretty corrupt in NCAA also, but at least the game itself has been less affected. Not perfect, but closer in spirit, and much more fun to watch.

Grant Hill is one of the nice guys. When he was at Duke, even the UNC fans liked him--and that's saying something!!
