A poster on Facebook wrote:Texas State law says it's OK to show pornography to children -- as long as they're your children and the material is otherwise legal (no kiddie porn, in other words). Now a Panhandle prosecutor wants the Texas Attorney General's office to check his reading of the penal code section on showing harmful material to minors. The Attorney Generals spokesman said the matter is under review and declined further comment.

Showing pornography to children can only have seriously negative effects. I think it should be a crime, equivalent to child abuse.

This is ordinarily a very conservative, bible thumping state. To find out this was a shock to me.

The main question in my mind, why would any parent want to
show porn to their children?!?!? Is this supposed to be some sort of
educational tool?!?!

Hey, I learned a lot back in the day. Back in those days you had to find sites that had lists of passwords. Now everything is just free
